Cerberus provide full driver/operator and maintainer training for customers requiring their personnel to understand their vehicles thoroughly

Training is available pre-deployment and throughout the life of the vehicle and includes:

• Introduction to the vehicle including changes in vehicle performance/handling and load capacity for equipment
• Introduction to underlying modifications to the vehicle that deliver the protection and special-to-role features
• Safety precautions when operating the vehicle
• Explanation of before/after use checks and introduction to scheduled maintenance

The Cerberus Armoured Vehicles Familiarisation When Operating Abroad course provides essential guidance for those new to operating in hostile or challenging environments. Focused on safety and situational awareness, the course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to travel from point A to point B as securely as possible while operating an armoured vehicle*.

Whether you're part of a corporate security team, NGO, media outlet, or government body, this course ensures you understand how to prepare, operate, and respond effectively in unpredictable environments.

By the end of the course, participants will be confident in their ability to operate responsibly in armoured vehicles while maintaining a high level of personal and team security in high-risk locations.

The Cerberus SUV & Armoured Vehicle Operator Training Course offers comprehensive theoretical and practical instruction on defensive driving techniques and the capabilities and modifications of armoured vehicles. It covers vehicle dynamics, handling characteristics, stability control, as well as an introduction to off-road driving aids. Additionally, the course provides guidance on ballistic protection.

The Cerberus SUV & Armoured Vehicle Maintenance Training Course offers entry-level knowledge on proper vehicle maintenance which is essential for ensuring the safety, reliability, and longevity of vehicles. This course is designed to provide drivers with comprehensive training in vehicle maintenance management, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain their vehicles in optimal condition. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and interactive discussions, participants will learn about the importance of regular maintenance, common maintenance tasks, and how to address minor vehicle issues. By the end of the course, participants will be able to effectively manage vehicle maintenance, reduce the risk of breakdowns, and contribute to safer and more efficient road moves.
